Research
My name is Deshmukh Vivek Vasant, Specially appointed Project Assistant Professor at "Electronics Inspired Interdisciplinary Research Institute" from June 2021. Basically, I belong to Farmship, Inc. where I work as a Group leader of Research and Development Group which handles system and protocol development for growing different herbs and vegetables in plant factory environment. To grow new crops in plant factory it is needed to have wide knowledge of plant's natural cultivation environment and adjust different parameters in plant factory for their stable and faster growth. So far, I have developed cultivation protocols for different herbs and vegetables. Herbs sensory parameters like flavor, texture, appearance, and color depends on growing conditions, growth speed and fertilizer composition. I would like to work for enhancing herbs growth under appropriate growing conditions. Thank you.
