OMURA Hiroshi (Mr.), Project Professor, Global Engagement Center, Toyohashi University of Technology (TUT), I was appointed to this position on 1st April, 2021. I engage in my main project toward an internationalization within TUT by promoting global networks to cultivate our students as leading engineers who can play an active role on the global stage for the international community. I used to work at Tohoku University, Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, UNESCO Bangkok, Miyagi University of Education, Embassy of Japan in Bangladesh, Kyushu University, Akita University as well as National Institute of Technology (KOSEN), Japan. From my career so far, I am expected to make full use of my experience for enhancing the existing global and local networks of TUT. To realize the basic philosophy of TUT, especially collaboration with KOSEN is essential. I will try to my best efforts to make it for our better future.
